Scholastic have today confirmed that the final book in the Harry Potter series - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - will be 784 pages long (US Edition)
So what do you think, too short? too long? just right? doesn't matter?

I agree... it just seems to me as though the book has been really rushed, I hope not.. but that's the way that it feels..
Guess I should discuss this somewhere else though!

I think it doesn't matter how long it is, it matters how much she manages to pack into it. JK has never written anything too short or too long before- she always writes things exactly as long as they should be, so I trust that the 7th will not let us down.
Unless Snape really turns out to be evil and Dumbledore really is dead, but that's neither here nor there in this thread.

I think 784 pages is a pretty decent read. I love thick book because with thick books it usually means heaps of twists and turns! Unless its just filled with long boring descriptions that is.... But as Vagabond said J.k hasn't disappointed yet!
