Some Summary Techniques.
1. Use visual methods to display information. Draw a table, flow chart, a diagram. These will enhance your ability to remember the content.
2. Address the syllabus points directly. Excess information will not get you a 'bonus' point. Chances are it will confuse you and would work against you in an exam.
3. Handwrite your summary. When you write by hand (as opposed to typing,) your concentration and mental functions are more alert and active.
4. Keep it tidy! Forgotten to write something? Place a 1 next to it and add your note at the bottom. DO NOT DRAW ARROWS. They are confusing and marks can be deducted for the work being 'untidy'. Alternately, you could write the note on a separate sheet of paper and tape/staple it to the page.
Keeping it tidy will give it a 'readability' factor. You need that when studying.
