How to study correctly.
1. Don't study at night time. Avoid this at all costs. At night-time your body is getting ready to sleep, memory retention rates in the night hours are low.
2. Have regular breaks. Eat something, watch a tv show, play with your pets or talk to your friends for a while. Don't attempt to study in large blocks. - You'll end up feeling overwhelmed and study less.
3. Create a study schedule. Organise all your commitments (School, work, job, soccer training, household tasks etc.) and work out when you are free. Remember that study is for mornings or afternoons. Engineer your timetable so that you have no study or homework falls on the weekend. You need some time off after all.
4. Remove distractions. If something distracts you, turn it off, avoid it, ( or destroy it ) If the television is on, chances are it will distract you. If your house is busy (kids, cooking, neighbours, noise etc) can you schedule your hours around to when it isn't so busy?
5. Find positive things to help motivate you. If you like music, listen to it, play it loud whatever. But please please please identify when it becomes a distraction. That makes it counter productive
